Cylinder Material: The cylinder barrel of the boom cylinder is typically made of seamless steel tubing. For low-pressure applications, No. 20 steel tubing is often used; while for medium- and high-pressure applications, No. 45 steel tubing is preferred to ensure sufficient strength and pressure resistance.
The cylinder barrel’s inner bore is generally honed or rolled, with a surface roughness controlled within 0.4μm to ensure sealing performance and smooth operation.

The piston rod is typically made of #45 steel, and undergoes heat treatment and surface chrome plating (approximately 0.03–0.05mm thick) to improve hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
